The V&E Greenline needs volunteers to help with a cleanup of the section of the trail called the “Springs”. We will be picking up limbs that are in the ditch and cleaning up an area where MLGW previously did some emergency work that left debris. Enter the Springs Section at the bollards, which is north of Jackson Ave and East of University Street on the V&E Greenline Trail. We will be working east of the bollards. Please bring gloves if you can. We hope you can join us.
Join Suzanne Martin for Mindful Walking on the V&E Greenline. Practice mindfulness with each step in order to relieve stress and develop the ability to bring awareness into daily life. Wednesdays, 7:00-7:30 a.m., meet at the benches in garden area west of McLean & Lyndale.
Colonel Russell Houston of the Crump Station has been invited to talk about police services in VECA and on the V&E Greenline. We will review the crime prevention issues identified at our last meeting, in addition to crime patterns during the last month. Finally, we will talk about organizing block clubs. Please join us for the meeting.
