ATTRACTIONS

THE EVENT

The V&E Greenline Artwalk will continue this fall at Kirby Station on Saturday, October 11, 2025, showcasing local artists and craftspeople, beer, wine, cocktails, food trucks, a Silent Auction, and more family-friendly fun! The event is FREE to attend.

Featuring more than 50 artists and craftspeople from across the local area, their exceptional creations come in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry design, fine glass, ceramics, woodwork, mixed media, photography, fiber arts, and more with something to find in everyone’s budget. But Artwalk is not just for the art collector - it is a treasured community event that also features a variety of your favorite food trucks, a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktails, a silent auction, V&E Greenline merchandise, a kids activity area, and a line up of local-favorite music throughout the day. Simply put, there is something for everyone at Artwalk.

The purpose of Artwalk each year is to raise funds for the needs of the trail and to promote our vibrant community of artists and craftspeople in a positive, family-friendly way. All profits benefit the V&E Greenline General Fund which covers maintenance of the trail for all to enjoy. We all benefit from your attendance, purchases, and support. Thank you!

2025 ARTWALK Featured WORK - V&E Greenline Wildflowers by VL PRINT

2025 Artwalk Original Featured Piece
V&E Greenline Wildflowers by VL Print

This striking 18x24 mixed media canvas by Memphis artist Vince Long (VL Print) is a layered celebration of the V&E Greenline’s spirit. Bold hand-painted acrylics create a vibrant foundation of lavender, gold, and earthy tones, while aerosol textures and water-based screen printing add depth and rhythm across the surface. At the center, oversized blossoms—sunflowers, coneflowers, and other wild blooms—radiate with luminous color, their forms outlined in vivid strokes that echo the Greenline’s natural abundance.

Anchoring the piece is the image of a historic trail structure, rendered in bold graphic lines that ground the dreamlike field of flowers in a sense of place. The interplay between architectural detail and free-flowing botanical forms mirrors the Greenline itself—a space where nature and community coexist. Vince’s maximalist, collage-like composition embraces contrast: organic versus structural, soft gradients versus sharp halftone textures, fleeting beauty against enduring memory.

The original framed canvas will be available for bid at our Silent Auction at ArtWalk.

2025 Artwalk Featured Poster
V&E Greenline Wildflowers by VL Print

Vince has also created a three-color screen printed poster inspired by his original canvas, distilling its bold florals and iconic Greenline imagery into a striking graphic composition. Each print has been carefully hand-pulled on heavyweight 140 lb. paper, ensuring rich color and texture. Produced in a very limited edition of just 20, every poster is signed and numbered by the artist, making it a true collector’s piece. These exclusive prints will be available for purchase during ArtWalk 2025.
